I had ordered enough tools to do solid and pop rivets for the practice kits years ago. This is pretty much the rest I needed. More riveting tools, squeezing tools since I’ll be doing most of this solo, and other odds and ends from the Cleaveland Aircraft Tools RV-7 kit.
If I knew I was actually going to be in the position to build an RV, I would’ve saved a decent chunk of money if I bought all this years ago.
On that topic, I also went to harbor freight and picked up a band saw, 6” bench grinder, and a paint gun for priming. The paint gun is definitely needed. The other two will make my life a lot easier (in general, nevermind the airplane).
The only things I’m really missing: #8 dimple die, a whole pile of sheet metal clamps, and my chosen primer. The DRDT2 compression dimpler still needs to be drop shipped as well. No idea the timing on that.
