It took some deliberation to figure out when to place the order, but figured my finances were stable enough to at least get the empennage started! This is after ordering the paper Preview Plans and spending some time reviewing those.
If life gets in the way, I could always sell the kit pretty much at cost if new or built if put together with care and precision.
In terms of workshop, I have most things I need to get started. Just need to pick up some other specialty stuff since I finally picked the airframe to build. Judging from Cleveland Aircraft Tool, I need maybe $2k more between tools and hardware. Possibly a little bit more than that with getting a bench grinder and whatnot.
