So, going over the videos from the HomebuiltHELP folks, I wasn’t able to match their results after shaping the aluminum. Tried all kinds of ways to clamp more surface area, but none of it worked.

So, I got myself some fluting pliers and tried them out after measuring possible rivet holes. Needless to say, the ribs look like workable parts now!

I did also discover that I’m going to have to redo C75-R-1 #6. Silly me cut it out of the wrong thickness aluminum. I’m thinking I’ll have to put together a checklist to nail to the wall so I don’t waste material like that again.
