Took most of the rough cuts and sanded them down into shape! I had to remake the one for C75-R-1 #6 though. I had a line marking the end of my ruler and took that as “oh, I need to sand through that”. I did measure the end lines and they made sense, so I probably just made some bad markings.
The contours were a little challenging. I realized as I was shaping them that I had no idea if it was going to be perfectly symmetrical. I made sure the contours are smooth and that the Y markings were accurate, but I’m going to have to check all the way through.
The only one not sanded was C75-R-2 #6. I started contouring it and realized that I wasn’t entirely sure how the nose needed to be shaped. I checked the plans and found out there was a radius I missed, which makes a lot more sense.
Once I get a compass, I’ll be able to finish out sanding and then move onto fillets and angles.
